Why International Women's Day is Important


International Women's Day falls on 8th March each year. We must remember that there are still millions of women whose voices go unheard, and who continue to be prevented and excluded from realising their full potential.

How often have you heard someone tell you they’re too busy to do something recently? Probably a few times at least, I’d guess. It’s become the expected response to the ‘how are you’ question and is in fact a boast, hiding under the guise of a complaint. It’s saying ‘I’m so busy but it’s ok because I’m very important’.
